La segona actuació fora de casa d’aquest 2014 és l’anomenada Diada del Triacord. En general les diades castelleres formen part d’una celebració concreta. L’exemple més clar són les diades de Festa Major, però, de tant en tant, les colles ens inventem actuacions fruit de les necessitats de calendari. La Diada del Triacord forma part d’aquestes últimes i l’any passat vam acordar amb els Castellers de Sants i la Colla Castellera Jove de Barcelona organitzar una actuació a finals de març que seria rotativa. La primera edició va ser la del 2013 i vam celebrar-la a Sant Cugat; enguany l’actuació l’organitza la jove colla barcelonina i el 2015 serà el torn dels de Sants. A partir d’aquí veurem si la diada té més recorregut o quedarà en una sola rotació.

Enguany l’actuació tindrà lloc a Barcelona, a la plaça Virrei Amat, plaça on la colla no hi ha actuat mai. L’any passat la Diada del Triacord vam celebrar-la el 7 d’abril, – comparativament una setmana més tard que enguany–, i allà vam descarregar-hi el 4de7, el 5de7 i el 2de7, tancant l’actuació amb dos pilars de 5 simultanis. De tota manera la nostra millor actuació en aquestes dates va ser el 3 d’abril del 2011 quan, a Sant Cugat, vam descarregar-hi el 2de7, el 3de7xs i el 4de7 en una diada a la plaça d’Octavià que vam anomenar de creixement, al costat dels Minyons de Terrassa.

Diumenge ens acompanyaran els Castellers de Sants, colla de 9 des de fa 3 anys, que té en el 3de9 i el 4de9 folrats els seus millors castells. Els Borinots, com també se’ls anomena, és la colla amb què més vegades hem compartit plaça al llarg de la història, concretament en 48 ocasions, pràcticament el doble de vegades que hem compartit plaça amb els Sagals d’Osona, que són la segona colla en aquest rànquing particular. L’any passat els santsencs, que llueixen camisa gris, en aquesta mateixa actuació van descarregar-hi la clàssica de 8, és a dir, 3de8, 4de8 i 2de7. Enguany arriben a l’actuació amb un 4de8 descarregat, castell que van fer la setmana passada a Sant Feliu; així que tot apunta que veurem algun castell de 8 dels companys de Sants.

Pel que fa a la Jove de Barcelona, amb els quals ja vam compartir plaça a Badalona, l’any passat van descarregar el 3de7, el 4de7 i el 5de6 en aquesta mateixa diada. Aquest any ja s’han estrenat amb els castells de 7 descarregant el 4d7 tant a Badalona fa dues setmanes com el passat diumenge a Terrassa.

La Patum de Berga, igual que els castells, és una festa tradicional catalana Patrimoni Immaterial de la Humanitat segons la UNESCO, i alhora, una de les festes més populars arreu dels Països Catalans.

Enguany, els Gausacs organitzem un autobús per assistir a la Patum completa que es fa el dijous 19 de juny de 2014.

La Patum completa, a diferència de la Patum de lluïment que es fa el dijous i el diumenge de Corpus a les 12 h del migdia, a més de comptar amb totes les comparses de la Patum de lluïment, acaba cada passada amb el conegut salt de plens, que podeu veure al vídeo.

Doncs bé, la colla organitza un autobús que surt de Sant Cugat a les 20 h i que torna de Berga a les 2 h de la matinada, just després del segon i últim salt de plens de la nit.

El preu de l’autobús és  de 15 € per persona, però si arribem a les 55 persones, el preu pot baixar fins als 10 €. Així, doncs, animeu a tothom qui hi pugui estar interessat, sigui o no casteller!

Comunicat dels Castellers de Sant Cugat en relació amb la publicació d’una imatge on apareixem al diari Gara, en el context del comunicat de l’organització Euskadi Ta Askatasuna (ETA) en motiu de l’Aberri Eguna 2014.

Castellers de Sant Cugat som una entitat cultural i tradicional catalana de caire social. La nostra finalitat és fer castells i difondre la cultura catalana allà on anem. Som part d’una societat multicultural i plural, i la nostra organització vol mantenir-se al marge de qualsevol acte polític o ideologia més enllà del respecte i la defensa dels drets humans, que creiem universals i orgànics en el si de la nostra entitat.

Castellers de Sant Cugat defensem el dret a decidir el futur de tots els pobles com l’extensió de les llibertats individuals i col·lectives que tota societat ha de poder tenir. Prèvia al 19è Aniversari dels Moixiganguers d’Igualada

Aquest diumenge actuem a Igualada en motiu de l’aniversari dels Moixiganguers d’Igualada, una actuació que, erròniament, sempre hem anomenat actuació de Sant Jordi. Els Moixiganguers ens han convidat en vuit ocasions al seu aniversari: la primera vegada va ser en un ja llunyà 1998 on vam fer-hi el 2de6, el 4de7 i el 3de6 aixecat per sota. Després vam estar deu anys sense participar-hi i des de l’any 2008 hi anem de manera ininterrompuda, set aniversaris seguits que són tota una declaració d’estima castellera dels Moixiganguers cap a nosaltres, i cap als Sagals d’Osona que també participen d’aquesta actuació des del 2008. Així, doncs, aquest diumenge serem en una actuació molt consolidada dins del calendari casteller.

La nostra millor actuació per l’aniversari dels Moixiganguers va ser la de la passada temporada amb el 2de7, el 7de7 i el 5de7. Cal destacar que és en aquesta actuació on vam estrenar per primera vegada l’estructura del 7. Durant tots aquests anys el castell més repetit per part nostra ha estat el 4de7, el qual hem aixecat en cinc ocasions diferents, i el castell de més dificultat que hi hem descarregat és el 2de7. Cal destacar que la temporada 2012 vam dur-hi el 4de8, però vam haver de desmuntar el castell dues vegades. Altres castells destacats en aquesta actuació són el 3de7 aixecat per sota que vam fer-hi l’any 2011 en una actuació on les tres colles vam aixecar-hi aquest castell –coincidència poc habitual a les places–, i també cal destacar el 3de7 amb agulla de l’any 2010, una de les dues úniques ocasions en què hem descarregat aquest castell.

Aquest any els Moixiganguers s’han proposat dur-hi a plaça el primer castell de 8 de la temporada –ells també van intentar-ho sense èxit el 2012. Diumenge veurem si al final poden acomplir les seves il·lusions i descarregar, per primera vegada, un castell de 8 el dia del seu aniversari.
